Cinema XXI Opens New Theater at Agora Mall, Thamrin Nine Featuring The First IMAX® with Laser in Central Jakarta

Jakarta, November 7, 2024 – PT Nusantara Sejahtera Raya Tbk (Cinema XXI, stock code: CNMA), opened the newest cinema, Agora Mall XXI. This cinema features IMAX® with Laser technology and is strategically located in Jl. MH Thamrin No. 10 Central Jakarta's Agora Mall. This opening reflects Cinema XXI's commitment to providing the widest possible access to movies for the public.
Dody Suhartono, Director of Cinema XXI, stated that Agora Mall XXI is designed to fulfill the needs of movie-lovers seeking a cutting-edge technology for audio and visual experience. "Additionally, this cinema is conveniently located in the heart of Jakarta, making it easily accessible for everyone," he remarked.
“Agora Mall XXI has a total capacity of over 1,000 viewers and features five Deluxe studios, two Premiere studios, and one IMAX® with Laser location. With the addition of IMAX® with Laser at Agora Mall, the total number of IMAX® theaters in Indonesia has now reached 18 locations,” Arif Suherman, Director of Cinema XXI added.
IMAX® with Laser utilizes the most advanced technology in the movie industry, equipped with a 4K laser projector system that delivers superior resolution, sharper and brighter visuals, and a wider color spectrum for an exceptional viewing experience. Additionally, the IMAX® with Laser location includes an upgraded sound system with 12 audio channels, enhancing sound quality and precision, particularly with sound channels positioned on the right, left, and above the studio.
