Celebrating National Children's Day Cinema XXI, in Collaboration with Falcon Pictures and Arion Mall, Hosts a Special Movie Screening of “Si Juki The Movie: Harta Pulau Monyet” with Children from Learning Centres

Jakarta, July 27, 2024 – Celebrating National Children's Day, PT Nusantara Sejahtera Raya Tbk (Cinema XXI) partnered with Falcon Pictures and Arion Mall, invited children from three learning centers in Jakarta to a special movie screening of “Si Juki The Movie: Harta Pulau Monyet” at the Arion XXI cinema on Saturday, July 27, 2024. A total of 150 children and their mentors from the Yayasan Peradaban Cendekia Unggul, Yayasan Teman Hebat Berkarya, and Rumah Belajar Merah Putih participated in this event.

Head of Corporate Legal & Corporate Secretary of Cinema XXI Indah Tri Wahyuni, stated that Cinema XXI is committed to supporting the domestic movie ecosystem by arranging special movie screenings for various community groups who have limited access to watch quality movies in cinemas. Cinema XXI regularly hosts special movie screenings as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, which also serves to promote quality Indonesian movies and strengthen the movie-going habit.
"On this National Children's Day, we aim to spread joy to the children and mentors from the learning centers. The children’s laughter and happiness while watching the movie remind us also of the significance of creating a positive environment and entertainment for Indonesian children, including through cinema," stated Indah.

Producer of Falcon Pictures Frederica, expressed her excitement at being part of the National Children's Day celebration. “Falcon Pictures presented Si Juki The Movie: Harta Pulau Monyet in response to our concern over the lack of children's movies in Indonesia. Therefore, when this movie became part of the National Children’s Day commemoration, we were very supportive because it aligns with our objectives,” said Frederica.

Falcon Pictures released the animated movie sequel “Si Juki The Movie: Harta Pulau Monyet” directed and animated by Faza Meonk on June 27, 2024. The film narrates the story of Si Juki, his family, and his friends on Pulau Monyet, as they embark on adventurous journeys filled with mystery and treasure. Throughout his quest for treasure, Juki encounters various obstacles, from a group of pirates to a curse that could spell disaster.

General Manager of Arion Mall Ferdiansyah, added, “The simple secret of happiness is to share more. We hope this event will foster a sense of social responsibility toward others and a stronger appreciation for national movie production.”

Chairperson of Yayasan Teman Hebat Berkarya Aisyah Winna, expressed the children's happiness and enthusiasm in participating in this special movie screening. “We are delighted and thoroughly entertained. This special movie screening provided refreshing and unforgettable new experiences for the children from the learning centres,” she said.
