Cinema XXI has strengthened its collaboration with the Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (JAFF) through the Inclusive Screening program, dedicated to people with disabilities. A total of 185 participants, including individuals with disabilities and their companions, gathered to enjoy the Visinema-produced animated film Jumbo, which has become the best-selling Indonesian animated film of all time.
The event took place on the third day of the 20th JAFF, on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Empire XXI Yogyakarta. Visually impaired and deaf participants were accompanied by JAFF volunteers who assisted by providing descriptions of the film being screened, ensuring that all attendees could fully enjoy the movie.
This support is part of Cinema XXI’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in observance of International Day of People with Disabilities, commemorated every December 3. "This step is a tangible form of the company’s commitment to providing an inclusive and meaningful movie-going experience for all audiences," said Masniar Hutajulu, Corporate Communication Manager of Cinema XXI.
