Jakarta, October 29, 2025 – PT Nusantara Sejahtera Raya Tbk (Cinema XXI; stock code: CNMA) recorded sustainable performance through the third quarter of 2025, with revenue reaching IDR4.3 trillion and net profit amounting to IDR444.9 billion. This achievement reflects the Company’s resilience in navigating the challenging market dynamics experienced throughout the first nine months of 2025.
Cinema XXI President Director Suryo Suherman highlighted the Company's steadfast commitment to business growth by optimizing operational excellence, pursuing prudent expansion, and continually improving service quality. This approach supports the Company's strategy of consistently maintaining and upgrading its cinema facilities to deliver an enhanced customer experience at Cinema XXI. “With operational discipline and continuous innovation, we are confident that Cinema XXI will be able to sustain its business performance through the end of the year,” said Suryo.
As of September 2025, the Company’s total revenue reached IDR4.3 trillion, representing a 0.4% increase compared to the same period last year, despite a decline in Cinema XXI’s total admissions. The improvement was primarily driven by solid performances in the second and third quarters of 2025, which recorded year-on-year revenue growth of 18% and 7%, respectively. This performance was supported by a higher average ticket price (ATP), in line with higher occupancy rates in premium cinema classes compared to the previous year. Additionally, the average Food & Beverage (F&B) spending per head rose over the last two quarters, supported by growing audience attendance and a wider variety of both domestic and international movies and effective product innovations. These factors sustained revenue stability and offset the first quarter 2025 slowdown, partly due to seasonality in entertainment.
These factors sustained revenue stability and offset the first quarter 2025 slowdown, partly due to seasonality in entertainment. By segment, revenue from cinema ticket sales remained the main contributor, reaching IDR2.7 trillion or approximately 62% of total revenue—relatively stable compared to the previous year. The Food & Beverage (F&B) segment also demonstrated a positive performance, growing by 0.7% to IDR1.4 trillion and contributing approximately 34% to total revenue. In addition, revenue from the digital platform recorded a 27.9% growth to IDR104.5 billion, reflecting the effectiveness and relevance of the Company’s revenue diversification strategy in the digital era.
Interim Dividend Distribution
As a token of appreciation to its shareholders, Cinema XXI has announced the distribution of an interim dividend of IDR5 per share, scheduled to be paid no later than November 28, 2025. “This interim dividend underscores our ongoing commitment to delivering sustainable value to shareholders while maintaining a healthy balance between business expansion and profitability,” Suryo stated.
The Company maintains its commitment to expanding its presence, ensuring wider public access to high-quality entertainment across Indonesia. In the third quarter of 2025, Cinema XXI opened two new cinemas — located at Basko City Mall, Padang, and Suzuya Merdeka Mall, Pematang Siantar. With these additions, as of September 30, 2025, the Company operates 261 cinema locations with a total of 1,369 screens across 67 cities/regencies nationwide.
