First in Indonesia, Purchase Movie Tickets Directly Through the GoPay App
Jakarta, November 19, 2025 - GoPay is introducing a new and convenient way for users to purchase movie tickets directly through the “Games and Entertainment” feature available in the GoPay app. With this feature, GoPay users can easily check movie schedules, select seats, and pay for cinema tickets without switching apps.

Through the ‘Games and Entertainment’ feature in the GoPay app, users can now access various partner services, including entertainment such as movie ticket purchases, without opening another application.”
As an initial phase, GoPay is partnering with Cinema XXI, the largest cinema network in Indonesia, to bring customers a more seamless movie-going experience. The collaboration has also been positively received by XXI.

As part of this partnership launch, GoPay is offering a special promotion of 50% cashback, up to 25,000 GoPay Coins, for the first movie ticket purchase made through the GoPay app. This promotion is valid from November 7, 2025, to January 15, 2026.
The steps to purchase movie tickets in the GoPay app are as follows:
1. Open the GoPay app and select the “Games and Entertainment” feature.
2. Choose the cinema network, then select the viewing location.
3. Select the movie and showtime.
4. Enter the number of tickets and choose the seats.
5. Complete the payment using GoPay.
6. The e-ticket will automatically appear in the GoPay app.
